The Christmas Bird Count\, which began over 100 years ago\, is one of the oldest wildlife surveys in not only North America but the world. Youth will learn how to identify birds\, take part in “Binocular Boot Camp”\, and go out into the field to count birds to help with citizen science and conservation efforts! DESCRIPTION:Bring your four-legged companions to our upcoming Oceanfront Bark event! This is the third of four scheduled events being held the third Saturday of each month through February.\nThis month’s theme is “Puppy Bowl”\, dogs and their owners are encouraged to dress up in their favorite football team’s jersey. The event is free for all well behaved\, licensed dogs and their owners and includes food trucks\, vendors\, pet friendly giveaways\, and a photo contest sponsored by Raising Canes.\nParking is free for all beach patrons for the duration of the Oceanfront Bark event.\nDogs will be allowed off-leash on the beach and in the water at Oceanfront Park. Dogs will be required to stay within the temporary fencing installed at the south end of the beach\, and just south of the middle beach access ramps. Dogs must be appropriately licensed and will be asked to leave the beach and Park if acting aggressively.\nIn the interest of safety\, the following rules must be adhered to:\n\nDog feces must be cleaned up by owners.\nDog owners must be in the enclosed area and within view of their dog.\nDogs must be leashed prior to entering and leaving the beach.\nThere is a limit of two (2) dogs per person.\nDogs must be removed from the park at the first sign of aggression.\nDog owners must have leash in hand at all times.\nFemale dogs in heat are prohibited from entering.\nDogs should be under voice control (i.e. come when called).\nDogs must be vaccinated and display current licenses.\n\n\n\nShare this with your friends:Post
