It can be a dirty job but the most rewarding!\nPlease note that participants are required to help care for our animal collection which includes interacting with or around reptiles and amphibians\, including snakes\, frogs\, toads\, and turtles. DESCRIPTION:Join us as we take part in a symbolic march retracing the steps of our community’s journey toward equality beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday\, February 24 at City Hall. Community members will march to Sara Sims Park for a powerful and communal act as we gather to burn the repealed ordinances listed below:\n• City Ordinance 37\, 1924 instituting segregation\n• City Ordinance 47\, 1924 widening the segregated area\n• City Ordinance 136\, 1933 establishing sundowner law\nThe ordinances listed above will be repealed by the Boynton Beach City Commission at 6 p.m. on Tuesday\, February 20 at the City Commission Meeting.\nFollowing the burning of the ordinances will be a community block party where food will be provided.
