The community is invited to join us for the 2024 Reverend Dr. MLK Jr. Celebration on Monday, January 15 beginning at 1:00 pm at Sara Sims Park. This outdoor, family-friendly event will feature music, history, education, food trucks, children’s activities, a non-profit showcase and more!

In addition, an MLK Track & Field Day will be hosted by Omega Psi Phi.
An MLK Day of Service will take place at Sara Sims Park from 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 15 prior to the Reverend Dr. MLK Jr. Celebration. The community is invited to join us to honor Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his legacy with this neighborhood cleanup. No RSVP is required, coffee and donuts will be provided.
An ASL interpreter will be on-site.
