Are you new to hiking? Hiking curious? Are you ready to introduce your walking shoes to unpaved nature trails? Great news! This program is for you! Join Ranger Veronica and learn tips on hiking safety and gear, how to prepare for a hike, reading trail maps, learn about outdoor ethics and Leave No Trace, and then we’ll go for a 0.5 to 1-mile hike. Meet at the Visitor Center. Registration is not necessary.
