Friends of the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge – Spooky Hike – 2023

Come join Team Friends of Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge during our 2023 Walk for the Wild campaign. Together we will raise crucial funds for America’s Wildlife Refuges, more than we could ever do alone!
The Friends of Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge are continually raising funds and awareness for our piece of the Northern Everglades. And what a fun, healthy way to showcase our Refuge at the same time by participating in one of our guided walks.
Funds raised in the past have been used to help refurbish our Nature Center exhibits, provide transportation for school field trips, and host the annual Everglades Days. Upcoming projects include setting up a maintenance fund for our new passenger tram.
You can help by donating to our team. 100% of your support will benefit the Friends of ARM Loxahatchee NWR and, thanks to the support of national donors and the Public Lands Alliance, a portion of your gift will be matched by the Amplifier Fund. To make a donation, click on “Donate” above or on the main landing page and allocate our team.
To sign up for free click “Register” to join one or both of our 5K challenges to raise awareness for the National Wildlife Refuge System and Team Friends of Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee NWR. The first 5K guided walk will be Saturday, October 7 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The second 5K Spooky Walk will take place Friday, October 13 from 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. Costumes are encouraged, but not required for the Spooky Walk. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes! Both walks begin at the C-6 pavilion at the Headquarters, 10216 Lee Road, Boynton Beach.
Use the sharing tools on this page to share your support with your family, friends and colleagues and request your network to join in. Take and share photos as you participate in one of our walks.
